York Dodgeball

Historic York is famous for many things - cobbled streets, ancient fortifications, high culture. And stags getting smacked in the nuts by big vinyl balls...

Thats right, chaps. The American art of dodgeball has landed in York, and it's time to get involved! A classic stag party combo of major insults and minor pain, dodgeball is just what the doctor ordered after a heavy night on Coney Street or Micklegate.

You don't need any sporting skill to conquer a dodgeball game - just the ability to scream like a girl and run for cover! Follow the advice of the legendary Patches O'Houlihan (played by Rip Torn in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story) and dodge, duck, dive and dip. If you're quick enough, you'll avoid getting smacked in the back of the legs by a plastic-covered ball that bites like a Yorkshire terrier.

Your stag party dodgeball afternoon is split into two sections - a tournament, and a special series of novelty games designed to max out your opportunities for stag-slamming! Wear daft fancy dress and take no prisoners as you play rounds of British Bulldodge, Smack the Stag and Wrong-Arm.

The staff at the York dodgeball courts are qualified trainers, but they also have degrees in the art of throwing insults around! You'll be expected to take part in this dodgeball tradition, so bring your playground head and prepare for a childish exchange of names. Awesome.
