Tuck your vest into your shorts, put your pumps on and pull your socks up. It's Old School Sports Day! This is your chance to either relive the glory of primary school or finally win the egg and spoon after all these years. One of our new favourite stag activities, this is a bit of lighthearted fun that'll break the ice, bond the boys and keep them out of trouble on Saturday afternoon. Sort of.
You'll compete in everything from the sack race to the space hopper charge. Events instructors are on hand to take care of business, leaving you free to focus on winning first prize.
Nottingham has produced a bunch of Olympians, including Torvill and Dean, Helen Richardson-Walsh, Becky Downie, Bryan Steel, Andy Turner and Jamie Baulch. Then you've got Notts Forest FC, cricket at Trent Bridge, and archery of course. Sport is kind of a big deal in this city, so sporty activities are particularly good for a Nottingham stag do.
Team strip? Damn straight! Get it sorted or do fancy dress. It's all good. Everything else you need is provided. We book the venue and sort an event coordinator to run everything. He or she will split the whole group into houses (a bit like Harry Potter) and then get the games underway. All houses compete for points and what do points mean? Prizes. As this is an old school sports day, the losers have to get the wooden spoon.
How competitive are you really? Time to find out!
