Quad biking is one of the oldest stag weekend activities in the book - and one of the best! Nothing cures a headache quite like firing up hundreds of cc of pure off-road energy and thrashing the nuts off a mud-loving mean machine.
These bikes have been selected for their power and versatility. Simple controls mean you don't have to worry about anything except the route. Charge along dirt tracks, bounce over woodland trails and smash your way into water and mud in the countryside surrounding Newcastle.
The instructors are highly experienced, and will quickly assess the skill level and enthusiasm of the group. Then they'll take you on a route that challenges everyone, without leading beginners too far out of their comfort zone.
If you've never ridden a quad before, there's nothing to worry about. Your group will be given a safety briefing and instruction before you begin.
The secret to quad biking is to keep your centre of balance firmly under control. When you climb a hill, lean forwards to compensate for the angle of the machine. Scrambling down hills means leaning back over the rear wheels, for the same reason. Listen to your instructors, emulate what they do, and you'll have the best stag weekend Saturday ever.
