Roads - who needs them? If you want to do a stag weekend driving activity that puts a completely different spin on things, look no further than hovercrafting!
We've found a perfect spot for a ride on a racing hovercraft, just half an hour's drive away from Edinburgh city centre. Filled with tricky sections and some absolutely killer obstacles, this place has everything a chap needs to help him forget he's got a massive hangover!
This is unlike anything you've ever driven before, fellers. Hovercrafts don't have brakes, and when you turn you have to put your weight into it to make sure the vehicle completely changes direction! You'll begin with a few practice goes around a clear, open field. Then, when your instructors are satisfied you've got up to speed on the controls, it's time to unleash the group on a hilarious slalom course...
Even the most jaded stag in the team will come back to life in a hovercraft. Trying to get to grips with the things will have you all laughing and joking again in no time.
As it's a stag weekend, we thought we'd put a competitive element into the afternoon. Once you've graduated to the slalom course, your hovercrafting session becomes a time trial event. Make it around the course in the quickest time you can without hitting a pole - every time you do, you incur a penalty.
