Edinburgh Stag Party is sure to keep every groom and their mates entertained. Because the Scots certainly know how to host a stag weekend. Welcome to the land of whisky and wild women! This city has the finest party credentials in the land, and stag parties are guaranteed a good time. An Edinburgh stag weekend is the last word in revelry.
Everything about an Edinburgh stag party is top notch, from the food and booze to the activities and accommodation. Your stag weekend group will get to explore Edinburgh's cobbled streets and pubs from swanky 4-star apartments located slap bang in the middle of the city. Most stuff is within easy walking distance. Which is a good job, really, since you'll be downing more than a few pints and shots on this particular stag weekend!
With the best fringe theatre festival in the UK, or even the world, taking over the city every year the locals know a thing or two about having a good time. So it's no surprise that we've got some properly funny stag activities from riding the Comedy Bus around town taking in the best comics around, to donning fat suits for a spot of Sumo Challenge.
Edinburgh and whisky go together like, well, Edinburgh and whisky. You really won't find another stag do destination that can touch the Scottish capital when it comes to a wee dram. The question is, when you are Whisky Tasting will you stick to the Speyside classics, or sample some Lowland malts from the local area?
Don't forget to take advantage of the countryside around the city. The rolling hills, dramatic mountains and beautiful beaches are made to order for the stag that wants a bit of outdoors action. Get your adrenaline levels sky high with Canyoning, White Water Rafting or Cliff Jumping, then head back to the Royal Mile in time for a pint (and a shot).
Or if all that choice is getting your knickers in a twist, then let us do the hard work and get yourself one of our stag packages. Take our Highland Games - who could argue with some mental Scottish sport, a slap up meal and VIP entry to the best bars and clubs around before crashing at our 4* apartments?
Great night. Food was particularly good. The beer babes really did make the night and get the party going.
Well what can I say. From the very helpful start to the actual weekend was top notch. Claire is a very efficient part of your team and great with recommendations. All the guys had an absolutely blinding weekend and would definitely use yourselves for their own upcoming events. Nice to deal with a personal, friendly company in this pushy day and age. Well done Stag Weekends. Andy.
All of the staff who I dealt with were absolutely brilliant. With just a list of activities in mind, Evie and Lauren gave plenty of suggestions for places /locations, plus additional activities.
Speedy responses to emails, happy to check things for you, confirm details, find information, make bookings, everything. Faultless staff. The accommodation was nice, and in a great location. Everything went very well indeed. The whisky tasting was superb! I had no idea it would be such an informative, hands-on kind of activity. All in all though, it was a truly superb weekend. From what we can remember, we all had a lot of fun. Thanks to all at Stag Weekends for the help. I definitely couldn't have organised such a memorable trip without you! Should I need to arrange a stag do or similar again, I'll certainly be back.
Hi Evie,
From the minute we arrived in Edinburgh, our accommodation "Fountain Court Apartments, EQ2" was only 10 mins walk from Haymarket Tram station. Airport to City Centre was £8.50 open return and took 20-25 mins.
Please look up the accommodation and watch the video "EQ2' apartments. They were superb! The next plus was although official check in was 15:00, we got there at 08:30, and were told that if we could wait for half hour........ COFFEE TIME!!!! Our rooms would be ready by around 0900-0930!! FAB!!! Fantastic showers, fab facilities and, for your added info... I live in a simple 2 up 2 down...... the apartment was BIGGER than my house! (we had 3, two that slept 4 and one that slept 3).
The first evening we had a meal and a drink booked in Slug and Lettuce..... we arrived and the only hiccup was they were unaware of our 'DRINK' but I politely flashed my WEEKENDERS itinenrary at the waiter and we did have our drinks.......
Worth looking into though....... just incase the staff were onto a sneaky paid for drink! Who knows....... hehe.
The second evening we had COMEDY CLUB which was also AMAZING...... For a small venue " Monkey Barrel Comedy" 9-11 Blair St Edinburgh, ALL the staff, from the 'Meet and Greet' guy on the door, to the doorman and bar staff gave a really personal service.During the second break we had our included "Sharing Platters". These were amazing too! One platter of cheeses, one of meats, one with salad and pies, quiche, mini sausages etc, one with pickles, olives dips, a bow of breads and two bowls of crisps/doritos. 11 adult men, who'd been out on the Famous Edinburgh Royal Mile all day could not polish the food off! Excellent value for our money!
On behalf of KEVIN and the rest of the lads can I say a MAHOOSIVE Thank You !!! To Off Limits Events weekends!! I/We would not hesitate to use your company again. Once a gain a massive thanks to You Evie, you helped make my job as best man organising the Stag far easier.
Many Many thanks
Rob
Whatever time of year you choose to have your stag party in Edinburgh, you can be sure of a rollicking good weekend in classy surroundings. Book early if you're planning to come during the Edinburgh Festival season, though. Accommodation is hard to find when the Fringe is in town!
Head North for an exciting single life send off for the stag! An Edinburgh stag party takes no prisoners, you’re going to love this exciting city!
If you’ve not had a stag night out in Edinburgh, be prepared. They know how to party in Scotland and the drinks won’t bust your budget. Just because this city is decadent and elegant doesn’t mean your wallet is going to suffer on the stag do! One of our favourite places to throw back a few drinks is Belushi’s. Right off the Royal Mile, Belushi’s is close to tons of other nightlife hotspots to keep your party moving through the night on your stag weekend.
If you’re looking for live music on your stag do, Edinburgh delivers big style. An intimate venue with capacity for 100, it’s important to get to Sneaky Pete’s early but it’s worth it. With plenty of excellent music and seriously cheap drinks, it’s a stag party’s dream come true.
When you’re not drinking your weight in lager in the capital, Edinburgh offers loads of activities to jump into with your mates on your stag do. Give your mates the fright of their life with a trip on the Ghost Tour Bus! Edinburgh is a city boasting a rich history of bloodshed, plagues, and royalty. This event will take your stag party around the spookiest hot spots in the city in a haunted hearse! A brilliant experience your friends we’re sure you’ll never forget.
Twist the throttle as you send off the single life with an exhilarating afternoon of Quad Biking. Fast paced in the stunning Scottish countryside, quad biking is an adrenaline filled activity that all the lads will love. There’s no experience necessary and you’ll have a guide with you the whole way, so jump straight in and go full throttle! Fresh air is a sure fire way to blow away the cobwebs on your stag party and get rid of the groom’s cold feet, but bring a change of clothes because things could get messy.
While in Edinburgh you have to add a whisky tasting class it would be rude not to have a few drams while in the Scottish capital. Edinburgh is known for its drinking so get your bagpipes at the ready lads, this stag party destination will go down in history.
