Want something that's guaranteed to go down well with everyone on the Brno stag do? Clay pigeon shooting ticks all the boxes. Fun, exciting and competitive, it's one of those sports that's equally fine for the fit and the not so fit. Level the playing field and see who's the best shot. We've found a nice shooting ground in South Moravia where you can learn the basics and take 20 shots each. You'll be picked up in Brno, dropped off at the ground and then collected at the end.
You'll learn all the essential skills and techniques with a professional shooting instructor: like how to stand, where to hold a shotgun against your shoulder, and whether your right or left eye is your dominant one. You learn all this pretty quickly; clay shooting is a sport you can get to grips with in an hour.
When you've got the basics down it's game on. Step forward, get in position, take a moment to focus, and then shout "pull"! and the clay will whizz across the sky like a bullet. It all happens pretty fast, you'll need to be on the ball to stay in control. Follow it and pull the trigger, preferably before it starts to drop out of the sky.
Clay shooting is a big rush and a test of skill. You'll need solid self-control to resist the urge to give in to your itchy trigger finger. And show serious cool when the pressure's on. Can you keep your head when it's crunch time and everyone's watching to see if you'll hit or miss?
