If ever there was a sport suited to a stag weekend, it's golf. You don't have to move quicker than a walk, you can spend ages leaning on your clubs getting some fresh air (i.e. steadying yourself after a case of the hangover whirlies), and you can wear ridiculous clothes without looking like a dork.
Bournemouth is home to a stunner of a course, sitting in spectacular meadowland. It's a par 72, perfect for chaps with a handicap. If you're not so serious about your golf, though, you can always take the opportunity to have a quick sit down while everyone else gets worked up about birdies and bogies!
With an epic first night behind them, the chaps are likely to need a serious helping of fresh air come Saturday. It's also advisable to keep them away from the brews for a few hours - if you want them to make it through to Sunday, that is. What better way to occupy a group of fellers in a strange location than by getting them worked up over putting angles and iron selection?
Golf in Bournemouth is the perfect stag weekend experience: as much of a challenge as you want, but with plenty of sea air and awesome views for the terminally hungover! And there's always the 19th hole, waiting at the end of the round...
