Here we are again, another week has been and gone'it's time to embrace the weekend ahead. The warm weather may be behind us now, but that doesn't have to put an end to the fun for us lads!
There's still loads of sporting action on the horizon, the highlight probably being the 2016 Ryder Cup next weekend. But, for now, let us take you through what's going on this weekend.
Bumper Premier League Weekend
So far this season the Premier League seems to have thrown massive fixtures at us each weekend, and this one is no different! The Saturday lunchtime game sees Manchester United host Leicester City at Old Trafford. Pressure is firmly on Jose Mourinho after United lost their last two league games to Manchester City and Watford. There have been calls for Mourinho to drop Wayne Rooney, so there will be much focus on the starting line ups when they are announced at 11.30. Claudio Ranieri will be looking for his side to make it three league defeats in a row for the Red Devils and will be confident the Foxes can do so having found their rhythm last weekend.
Manchester City head to Swansea as they look to protect the only remaining 100% record in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola's side have looked unstoppable so far this season and welcome back Sergio Aguero following his three-match suspension. Swansea, on the other hand, have failed to win since the opening day of the season and there is increased speculation that the club are considering Francesco Guidolin's position. A hammering from City could spell the end for the Italian boss.
Saturday evening brings arguably the most intriguing game of the weekend as Chelsea travel to Arsenal. After a stuttering start Arsenal have come into their own, winning their last three games, whereas Chelsea started the season well but have failed to register a win in their last two matches. Chelsea frontman Diego Costa has been a thorn in the Arsenal defence in recent seasons'it should be a Premier League classic encounter!
Aviva Premiership Continues
It has been a blistering start to the Aviva Premiership season and ahead of the weekend's fixtures there are three sides who have a 100% record three games in'with all picking up two bonus points as well.
Premiership champions Saracens are one of those sides and they head to Harlequins this week. Sarries recorded a comfortable win over Northampton last week, whereas Quins suffered a defeat at the hand of Exeter.
Wasps are another who have won three-from-three and they travel to Northampton on Saturday. Wasps looked in imperious form last weekend as they thumped Bristol by 70-22!
The remaining side with an unblemished record are Bath who face a tricky looking trip to Welford Road to take on Leicester Tigers.
